Contemporary villa with louvred shutters

A house built from interlocking volumes, protected by black metal louvres and a glass balustrade.

Corner of the cantilevered volume

The project plays on interlocking: a tall volume, a cantilever, a thin canopy above the entrance. Pale render unifies the masses and the black louvres give them rhythm.

Adjustable louvres filter the sun without closing the house off. At the entrance, a timber frame and a glass balustrade lighten the base and mark the threshold.
