Villa Ahogny — Abidjan
A large tropical villa built from offset volumes and deep overhanging flat roofs, opening onto a garden and pool.
The brief breaks down into independent volumes linked by deep canopies: every living space gets a facade and a shadow. The widely overhanging flat roofs shield the openings from overhead sun.
On the garden side, the pool runs the length of the terrace and mirrors the recessed lighting. The materials — white render, beige stone, anthracite joinery — stay restrained so the planting can dominate.
